Drawing for Wellbeing 1 – Mark-making and Mandalas
Recovery College Blended Learning Courses
Suited to both beginners and those with more experience this blended learning course centres around the theme of Reflections. The course will be delivered in a relaxed, creative environment. As a learner you will have to option to work both individually using the printed workbook and supplied art materials as well as interacting with a group via weekly MS Teams meetings.
This is a course of two parts.
The first half of this course will give you the opportunity to develop your drawing skills through a series of 3 creative mark-making activities. These will include:
In the second part of this course you will focus on transferring the three mark-making skills into a collection of mandala designs. You will get the opportunity to combine drawing skills with a design element that is centred around the relaxing qualities of repetitive processes and mandalas.
Extension work will include inspiring you to create or produce a collection of handmade cards or personalised mindful colouring sheets or designs.
Although this is a progression course from the Exploring Recovery Through Art project it is open to all learners to enrol.

You are not referred to the Recovery College, you can simply enrol yourself, or on behalf of someone for any of our courses that may be of interest to you. Our courses are open to all adults and we welcome carers, supporters and professionals too.
