Recovery College Blended Learning Courses
In this 4 week course you will continue your wellbeing journey by looking at the concept of masks. The ones we wear physically and metaphorically. How we maybe hide our true selves from others. We’ll explore the history and human fascination with masks and how that translates to modern times. You will explore these themes in your workbooks and produce two final pieces of creative work. The development of sculptural masks using papier mache to represent the layers of ourselves. You’ll create 2 masks, one to represent your true self and one mask to depict the one you wear for others / different situations. These unique pieces will be the culmination of discussion, self- guided work and tutor input and will form the final artwork produced in the Wellbeing series.
