Managing Stress

Folly Hall, Huddersfield, St Thomas Road, Huddersfield HD1 3LT

My health and me

This learning seminar will help you develop your knowledge and awareness of stress, how stress affects you and most importantly what you can do to manage it. The session will be facilitated by two friendly psychological wellbeing practitioners from Kirklees Talking Therapies service alongside a Recovery College volunteer with lived experience of stress, and it will introduce self-help techniques such as relaxation, problem solving and challenging negative thoughts, helping you to learn skills to manage your own symptoms and become your own therapist.
