Me and my World – Weaving
This 4 week course you will explore how you engage with the world using the creative art of weaving. Using texture, colour, words, fabrics and various other materials. You will use the Warp threads to represent aspects of your life – family, friends, work, the place you live, neighbours, the things you come into contact with. This course allows you to use visual language to explore these ideas.
By the end of the course you will have produced a unique final woven piece.
Starts: Thursday 4 March at 10am – 11.30

Introduction to Textiles
This course will allow you to explore and develop different textile styles and techniques, concentrating on a variety of textures, ideas and the production of art using various materials.
You will produce a collection of different projects to present to the group and jointly celebrate your finished pieces.
Starts: Weds 10 March at 1.30pm for 6 weeks
