Print, Play, and Produce: A Creative Taster

Project Colt, Elland, Halifax, Bridgefield Mills, Elland Bridge, Elland, Halifax HX5 0SQ

Life skills and interests

Unleash your creativity in this hands-on taster course, led by our friendly Peer Worker, James, designed for beginners or anyone looking for a gentle refresher. Across the relaxed drop in sessions, you’ll explore three types of printing, including Gel Printing and Lino, giving you a taste of each technique, with the option to explore them in more depth if you wish.

Step by step, you’ll discover how each technique works and produce your own unique prints to take home. The sessions focus on learning, building confidence, and having fun in a supportive environment where it’s perfectly okay to experiment and make mistakes.

No previous experience or special equipment is required — just bring your curiosity, and we’ll provide everything you need.

What you’ll gain:

  • Try three different printing techniques, including Gel and Lino
  • Build confidence with creative tools and processes
  • Take home a collection of your own prints
  • Experience a relaxing, mindful way to express yourself
  • Connect with others in a friendly, welcoming group
  • Enjoy time for yourself, exploring creativity at your own pace

Please note this course started on 1st October, but bookings are open for drop in sessions until the 4th November.
