Fun with Felt
Mirfield Community Centre, Water Royd Lane, Mirfield, WF14 9SG

Life skills and interests
Do you long to try something crafty but don’t think you “are good at art?” Or maybe you haven’t picked up a pencil since your school days and don’t feel as confident as you once did? Or perhaps you just want to meet new people in a safe and friendly environment? If any of the above apply then why not join us for this one-off workshop where we will introduce ourselves to the world of craft and have some fun!
Crafting is a wonderful activity that allows us to focus our minds on a single task, helping us to forget about our worries for a while, as well as giving us the chance to create our very own piece of artwork. During the session, our fabulous facilitators, Laura and Jana will show us some very simple techniques using felts, which will enable us to produce our own uniquely designed tote bag, to take home to proudly show to friends and family. Everyone is welcome and no previous experience is necessary.
