Life skills and interests

Fully Booked

Over 5 weeks you will be supported to create your own electronic music track from start to finish! You will learn how to use a Digital Audio Workstation so that you can create a complete electronic music track using one piece of software. You will also be able to use and access this free software at home using your own smartphone, laptop or tablet, so that you can continue making music at home after the course has finished. You will also be taught a brief history of electronic music, have the chance to play on some electronic instruments, and also learn about different types of microphones and how to record vocals using these.

This is a course designed for beginners, so you don’t have to have any experience of using digital audio workstations previously, and you will be guided step-by-step on how to use each feature of the software throughout the course so that you can create your very own unique piece of electronic music at the end of the course.
