Life skills and interests
Join us for a fun and relaxing 4-week course, delivered by our Creative Practitioner Sarah O’Boyle, where you’ll discover the creative world of paper weaving using recycled materials and mixed media. Whether you’re completely new to crafting or already love getting creative, this course is open to everyone—no experience needed!
Inspired by the ‘5 Ways to Wellbeing’—Connect, Be Active, Take Notice, Keep Learning, and Give—we’ll explore colour, texture, and pattern in a calm, welcoming space. Each session is designed to help you unwind, express yourself, and enjoy the simple joy of making things with your hands.
You’ll build confidence in your creativity while connecting with others in a friendly, supportive group. Expect a gentle pace, lots of encouragement, and plenty of room to play and experiment. Come as you are, and leave feeling inspired and refreshed.
Please note, this venue is in a converted mill, the building is in the process of being improved so that it is more accessible. In the meantime, if you struggle to climb stairs please get in touch at least two-weeks before the course start date and we will endeavour to put adjustments in place. We apologise for any inconvenience that this may cause and we thank you for your patience. If you would like any further information, please get in touch
