Join us for this brand new course, delivered with our partners at the Royal Literary Fund (RLF). Over four weeks we’ll be supported to develop a love for poetry, fiction and friendly discussion. The course will offer opportunities to hear and/or read short stories and poems from new and sometimes challenging writers and to think about them in ways that build on existing reading habits – or re-ignite our love of reading.
There’s no need to read anything in advance, and nothing to write down. Simply turn up and listen to volunteer, Paul, and professional writer, Heidi, read aloud. After that we’ll take part in a very open-ended discussion about the work we hear. It’s an opportunity to hear great stories and poems and talk about them in an informal, conversational way – perfect for regular readers and non-readers alike!
