Back by popular demand! This fabulous five week course will take you back in time to the early 20th Century where you will learn about the Golden Age of Hollywood! You will see many famous movie clips containing some of the biggest stars of the screen such as Orson Welles, Gary Cooper, Rita Hayworth and Marlene Dietrich. You will learn about the humble beginnings of the earliest studios; Paramount, Columbia and Fox Pictures and their respective founders. The final week we’ll watch a full-length movie from this era together – popcorn provided!
The Golden Age of Hollywood course is a firm favourite here at the College and each time it is delivered you will learn something new as the content varies from course to course.

You are not referred to the Recovery College, you can simply enrol yourself, or on behalf of someone for any of our courses that may be of interest to you. Our courses are open to all adults and we welcome carers, supporters and professionals too.
