Wood Block Printing
Kirklees Recovery College, Kirklees Recovery & Wellbeing College, Pathways, Nettleton Rd, Mirfield, WF14 9AQ

Life skills and interests
Join us for this brand-new course where we will delve into the traditional art of woodblock printing. This is similar to other block printing methods, such as lino but with a very different carving method – and result! Over 5 weeks, with the help of our fab Facilitators, James & Ethan, you will be guided through the process of designing and carving out your own woodblock, and then printing with it to create your own unique piece of art. Previous experience of wood or lino printing is advisable but not essential.
Please note that our craft room is based upstairs and we have no lift available. Please advise at the time of booking if you have any access issues, so we can make every effort to meet your needs.
If you are already a learner with the College please email us your interest to: ckrecovery.wellbeing@swyt.nhs.uk
