Weekly Update

June 5, 2025

Welcome to our weekly update!

As we approach Carers Week (9th-15th June), we want to take a moment to recognise the incredible individuals who dedicate their time and energy to supporting others. Your compassion and commitment are truly inspiring. We also want to gently remind you: your wellbeing matters too. Taking time for yourself—whether through yoga, walking, or simply a moment of stillness—is not a luxury, but a necessity. You deserve care just as much as those you care for.

As we step into a new week, we invite you to pause, breathe deeply, and reconnect—with yourself, with nature, and with the simple joys of movement. Whether you’re rolling out your yoga mat or lacing up your walking shoes, there’s something truly magical about taking time to nourish both body and mind.

At the heart of our community is a shared love for mindful living. Our Yoga and Walking Courses are designed to help you slow down, stretch out, and stride forward with intention. These sessions are more than just exercise—they’re a chance to unwind, recharge, and rediscover your inner calm.

We still have spaces available in our upcoming sessions, and we’d love for you to be part of them. Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or just starting your wellness journey, there’s a place for you here (see below).

If you haven’t already read our latest monthly newsletter, Keeping Connected, the link is still here.  This edition includes stories that reflect the power of learning, from learners who’ve described their courses as “life-changing”. Prepare to be inspired!

For Those That Give Too Much–  Wednesday 11 June – 2 weeks

In this insightful course, delivered by Peer Worker, Karen & Recovery Coach, Erika we will explore what it means to give and what is considered “too much”.  Together, we will discuss the reasons why we give so much, explore the science behind why it feels so rewarding and learn how to be more aware of the cost to ourselves and our health.

Self-Esteem & Resilience – Tuesday 17th June – 2 weeks

Delivered by the ever lovely Karl at ‘Waythrough’, this two week course will help you discover how to improve feelings of self worth and to build self esteem.

Yoga: Tuning into Nature – Monday 16th June- 5 weeks

This course offers an opportunity to practice elements of Yoga, as a tool for connecting to the outdoors. The practice of yoga can calm the mind, improve sleep, increase concentration and could relieve symptoms of depression. It also increases strength and flexibility as we physically work to keep our bodies moving.
