Moving into Mindfulness

Mirfield Community Centre, Water Royd Lane, Mirfield, WF14 9SG

Wellbeing tools

Join Peer Worker, Laura for this insightful course where together we will explore the essence of mindfulness.  We will discover different ways of practicing mindfulness and explore the principles as set out by Jon Kabat Zinn (founder of the Mindful Based Stress Reduction Program). We will also consider the science of this practice and the positive impact it can have on our brain and how it can help alleviate symptoms of stress, anxiety and depression.

When we learn how to live in the present moment, we can let go of stress and find peace and relaxation.
