Life can be challenging and difficult for people. It can lead to not knowing how to soothe or take care of ourselves effectively. Often, people turn to unhelpful and destructive coping strategies.
In this one-off workshop we will explore self-care and self-soothe skills that can help with feelings of distress and help to find calm during difficult times. Through informative discussions, the workshop aims to share creative and useful self-care and self-soothe ideas and there will be the opportunity for learners to share their thoughts and ideas.
This workshop gives learners the chance to build their resilience, share lived experiences and to contribute to and practise beneficial self-care/self-soothe skills in a safe space.
