Emotional Balance: Breathe Deep
Huddersfield Mission, 3-13 Lord Street, Huddersfield. HD1 1QA

Wellbeing tools
It’s time to harness the power of the breath to support us through difficult times. Conscious deep breathing can be used as a mindful tool to regulate our emotions, reduce stress, lower blood pressure and enhance our physical wellbeing. In this short course, with the help and support of our fab Peer Worker, Laura we will learn the techniques to breathe into our diaphragm, consider the science of how this can support us and explore ways to build a daily breathing practice.
‘Take ownership of your breath, so nobody can steal your peace’
Please note: This workshop will involve deep breathing and a guided relaxation. Please consult your Doctor before taking part if you have any issues with breathing or psychosis.
This session forms part of a series of 8 Emotional Balance workshops. You are welcome to attend all 8 or individual ones according to your own needs or interests!
