Mindful Mondays: Make your own mini masterpiece

Howlands Centre, Dewsbury, School Street, Dewsbury, WF13 1LD

Wellbeing tools

For those of us who don’t think we are artistic, or believe we can’t paint or draw then this workshop is for us! Using three different abstract artists for inspiration, we will amaze ourselves as we discover our potential in this expressive, abstract art workshop. Using a variety of household and waste items such as sponges, plastic forks, crisps packets, bubble wrap and plastic straws, we will be guided how to make interesting marks on paper using these recycled tools and paints. We will then produce our own mini masterpiece canvas to display on a miniature easel and be super proud of the artwork created. This one-off session is a joyous experience and one that will leave us filled with creative inspiration!

This brand-new workshop is delivered in partnership with the lovely Carolyn from Mindful Maker CIC (and previous Recovery College learner/volunteer) and supported by One Community and their Grassroots fund.

There are five creative Mindful Monday workshops available, you can book on as many as you like, whether one, two or all five!
