Yoga for Self-Care Taster Session
Huddersfield Mission, 3-13 Lord Street, Huddersfield. HD1 1QA

Wellbeing tools
This one-off taster session offers an opportunity to practice elements of Yoga, as a tool for self care. Research suggests that yoga can calm the mind, improve sleep, increase concentration and could relieve symptoms of depression. It also increases strength and flexibility as we physically work to keep our bodies moving.
Our friendly Yoga teacher, Laura will offer a gentle introduction to the elements of Yoga that have supported her own wellbeing journey. This one-off class will include, breathing and movement practices, as well as a guided relaxation. This class provides fully accessible practices as movements can be adapted and joining from a chair is encouraged.
Please wear loose, comfortable clothing during sessions and you will be required to complete a health questionnaire before attending.
If you enjoy this session, then why not book on our longer, six-week Yoga for Self-Care course?!
