Yoga in Chairs

Holmfirth Tech, 140 Huddersfield Road, Holmfirth, HD9 3AR

Wellbeing tools

Join our fabulous Peer Worker, Laura for this fully accessible course, where we’ll discover how yoga can prove to be a helpful wellbeing tool and ways to incorporate this practice into our everyday lives.  Blending together breathing practices, gentle flowing movement, meditation and reflection, the practice of yoga can help calm the mind, improve sleep, increase concentration and could even relieve symptoms of Depression. It also helps to increase our strength and flexibility as we physically work to keep our bodies moving.  All movements are done from the chair, with some standing options.

Please wear loose comfortable clothing during sessions and you will be required to complete a health questionnaire before attending.
