ADHD Awareness

Folly Hall, Huddersfield, St Thomas Road, Huddersfield HD1 3LT

My health and me

This one-off workshop is delivered by those with lived experience and looks at the life and experiences of someone living with a diagnosis of ADHD and the fascinating insight of others looking outside in. Throughout the session we will explore the characteristics of ADHD and the various ways that it may affect an individual.  We will discuss some of the myths surrounding this diagnosis and what to do if you suspect ADHD in yourself of someone else.  There will be the opportunity to ask our friendly facilitators, Nicky & Ali, questions and they will provide an overview of the strategies that may help those with ADHD or those supporting them.  You will also receive information on local and national support networks to access further help.

Due to the popularity of this workshop and to ensure we are being fair to everyone, priority will be given to learners who have not undertaken this ADHD Awareness workshop previously.

If you have a diagnosis of ADHD and want to know more, then check out our Living Well with ADHD course by clicking the link below!
