Are you curious about obsessive compulsive disorder (OCD) and how it impacts daily life? In these interactive sessions delivered by our partners at Wakefield Recovery College, you’ll gain a clear understanding of what OCD is, explore the difference between obsessions and compulsions, and learn how the obsessive-compulsive cycle is maintained. During the course we’ll hear powerful first-hand accounts of living with OCD, bust some common myths, and importantly, we’ll also explore treatment options and how they can help.
Whether you want to learn for yourself or support someone you care about, this course offers practical insights and knowledge that can make a real difference.
Please note, if you’ve previously attended our Understanding OCD learning seminar delivered by Kirklees Talking Therapies, you may recognise some similar themes in this course. However, it provides a valuable opportunity for further interaction and a more in-depth exploration of the topic.
