Weekly Update

Welcome to our new look weekly update!
We’re making a few changes to how we keep in touch with you. From now on, the Weekly Update will be shorter and easier to read, with a dedicated link to a regularly updated webpage where you can find all the latest community activities and events that might interest you.
Each week, we’ll also share a short feature article to reflect what’s happening across the College and offer something thought‑provoking to start your week. Enjoy!
Wendy’s Reflections: Making Sense of Relationships
Wendy shares her experience and reflections on taking part in our new and recently completed Making Sense of Relationships course.
I really enjoyed the Making Sense of Relationships course. As a neurodivergent person, I’ve always found relationships a bit confusing, and this course really helped. The relationships matrix was a real eye‑opener — it showed me how much time and energy I put into people, and what I actually get back.
I also learned a lot about the roles we can slip into, like the Drama Triangle. The Winners Triangle and the Hope Triangle were completely new to me, and writing down my hopes for how I want my relationships to be felt surprisingly therapeutic.
I’ve even started trying out 2 new strategies called FAST and GIVE in real life — slowly, but it’s helping.
