Wellbeing tools
When facing challenges or difficulties in life, we don’t always know how to soothe or take care of ourselves effectively. Often, we can turn to unhelpful or destructive coping strategies. In this four-week course, we will explore various soothing techniques and self-care skills to help us find calm during difficult times and help reduce feelings of distress. Through group discussion and with the help and support of our friendly facilitators, Laura and Ann, we will share creative and useful self-care and self-soothe ideas in a safe and friendly setting, enabling us to share lived experiences, learn from each other and build our resilience.
Please note this course was previously known as: Tools to Soothe: self-care essentials.
