Launch event – Making Space Calderdale

To celebrate the launch of our new service Makng Space are hosting an event on:

Thursday 25 November 10am-2pm at The King’s Centre in Halifax.

This is an opportunity for you to meet the team, hear about the support being offered to carers and to also find out about other services that support carers in Calderdale. The event is open to carers, the person they care for as well as for professionals. Feel free to call in for as long as you can and a buffet lunch and refreshments will be provided.

Carers Count Kirklees…

We feel it’s important to prepare carers with the information you need in case of an emergency, you may become ill, feeling you can’t cope or you feel you’re getting older so what’s the future look like for you and the person you care for.

Planning for the unexpected, the WHAT IF is extremely important and gives everyone the reassurance of what happens next at usually a very difficult and stressful time.
