Weekly Update

Welcome to our weekly update!
As Mental Health Awareness Week draws to a close, we’re reminded that recovery is not about returning to who we were—it’s about discovering who we can become. It’s about reclaiming a life of meaning, connection, and possibility.
At our Recovery College, we see this every day. Recovery here isn’t defined by a diagnosis or a destination. It’s defined by people finding their voice, building confidence, learning new skills, and reconnecting with what matters most to them. It’s about hope, not perfection—and about community, not isolation. Do read on below to see what courses are on offer and what is happening in our communities.
Reminder: Could anyone with squares for our Woven Project please bring them into Mirfield Community Centre by the 23rd May, or sooner if possible.
